Whitpain Recreation Association (WRA) Needs Your Help!

Participation in youth improves outcomes for children across a broad spectrum of metrics. Despite that, fewer kids are playing organized sports. Whether it’s the distraction of electronic devices, or the rising dominance of expensive private club sports programs, it’s a clear and troubling trend.

But it’s not the case in Whitpain. The WRA – offering intramural and travel programs in Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Field Hockey, and Soccer – continues to serve an increasing number of children each year. The WRA has embarked on a series of projects to insure that we can continue to provide top-notch, affordable playing opportunities for children of all abilities. This year, WRA is opening a brand new lighted turf field complex at Centre Square Park, and in 2020 we hope to open a renovated and expanded baseball and softball complex at Wentz Run Park.
